We spend a great deal of time with our patients to help them select the best hearing aid for them as well as providing follow-up care after the purchase of their hearing aid. Selecting a hearing aid is not only based on a patient's degree and configuration of hearing loss but also their lifestyle and other issues like manual dexterity, visual acuity and cosmetic appeal. Although we dispense hearing aids with analog, programmable and digital technology, we specialize in fitting models designed to function in noisy environments or those used to fit high frequency hearing loss.
We offer information and guidance on use of assistive listening devices, such as amplified telephones, FM transmitter systems, and infrared systems. These systems serve as additional help in situations when hearing aids do not provide the necessary assistance. We will either order the device in which you are interested, or give you the information to order on your own.The charitable foundation set up by the hearing instrument manufacturer Phonak has given over CHF 520,000 worth of support to projects for people with hearing loss…
